Fred Taylor Biography

Fred Taylor is an accomplished American former college and professional Football Player who was born and brought-up in Pahokee, Florida. He was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) during the 1990s and 2000s for 13 seasons. He is known for playing college football for the University of Florida and as an All-American.

Fred was also chosen by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the ninth overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft. He also played for the Jaguars and New England Patriots of the NFL, and is a member of the 10,000 yard rushing club. He also signed a one-day contract with the Jaguars on 2 September 2011, and then retired from the team.
