Jane Slater is an American journalist. She currently serves as an NFL Reporter based in Dallas, Texas. Jane’s major role is covering the Dallas Cowboys. At the same time, she serves as a sideline report for CBS Sports. Prior to that, Jane covered the New Orleans Saints and the Tennessee Titans as well. Apart from covering games, Jane has made appearances on NFL Network as well as Fox Sports 1 programs.

On Fox Sports, Jane is well known for filling in for Kay Adams (sports personality) on Good Morning Football. Before she became part of the  NFL Network in 2016,  Jane worked for ESPN as an anchor and also as a sideline reporter for the Longhorn Network. Additionally, she worked on the College World Series and college football bowl games for both ESPN and the SEC Network.

Jane also spent eight years while covering news prior to turning her attention to covering sports. As a news reporter, she co-hosted a radio talk show called “Elf and Slater” on KRLD-FM 105.3  for a period of one year for the fan in Dallas. Additionally, Jane covered Dallas sports teams for WFAA and KTVT as well.
