Matthew Nilo, a 35-year-old cyberlawyer from New York, is a citizen of the United States. Boston, New Jersey, and California are just a few of the cities where he has resided. He has even resided in Wisconsin and New York.
He studied for four years to get a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the prestigious University of Wisconsin-Madison, from 2006 to 2010.
Later, in 2012, he enrolled at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he committed himself to learning the law. In 2015, he received his Juris Doctor degree.
More than 15 years after he is alleged to have tortured four individuals in the area of Terminal Street, the lawyer was apprehended at his home in Weehawken, New Jersey, on Tuesday.
Rape and sexual assault case involving Matthew Nilo
Due to significant claims of rape and sexual assault that have been proven against him, Matthew, a well-known attorney, has lately gained prominence.
Nilo, who is from the Boston region and once lived in the North End, is accused of misbehaving in the Charlestown neighborhood near Terminal Street.
According to local law enforcement sources, he has been accused of sexually assaulting four different victims.
According to Michael Cox, the police commissioner, the alleged offenses took place on four distinct days. August 18, 2007, November 22, 2007, August 5, 2008, and December 23, 2008 are the relevant dates.
Cox said that the attorney is charged with many offenses. There are three rape charges, two abduction counts, one attack with the intent to rape count, and one case of indecent assault and abuse.
The attacks and the identities of the victims have not been disclosed by the authorities, but this case has received a lot of attention due to the nature of the allegations against Nilo.

News of Matthew Nilo’s arrest
On May 30, about 4:30 p.m., Matthew J. Nilo, a former resident of the North End, was detained at his Weehawken, New Jersey, home.
The arrest was announced by Joseph Bonavolonta, a special agent of the FBI’s Boston field office.
The four sexual assault survivors quickly learned of Nilo’s arrest after a lengthy wait of 15 years, which they had excitedly anticipated.
The Sexual Assault Unit of the Boston Police Department requested assistance from the FBI in its investigation in October.
Using a cutting-edge method known as investigative genetic genealogy, which combines DNA analysis, genealogical research, and historical documents, the detectives were able to correctly identify the lawyer as a key suspect.
Investigators were successful in confirming Nilo’s identity, according to Bonovolonta, last month. His capture unquestionably demonstrates the tenacity and unyielding resolve of law enforcement.
