Francis John McCaffery, simply Fran McCaffery, is one of the most regarded college coaches. He is currently serving the MBB team of the University of Iowa, Iowa Hawkeyes. In addition, the Pennsylvania native is a former basketball player of the Wake Forest and Penn Quakers.
Apart from being one of the talented coaches, the 2009 MAAC Coach of the Year is also a doting dad to his four kids. He shares them with his longtime partner, Margaret McCaffery, who is also a former professional basketball player. Marit Is The Only Daughter Of Her Parents
Marit McCaffery is the only daughter of Fran and Margaret. She was born as the third child to her parents. The gorgeous girl has two elder siblings and one younger brother. As the only baby girl in the family, she must have been loved and pampered by all of her family members.
Fran McCaffery’s daughter, Marit, lives a private life. Regardless, she often makes public appearances with her family and, in particular, attends her brothers’ matches. However, Marit has kept her personal and professional life entirely away from media scrutiny. Nevertheless, she must be enjoying her life away from the public eye.

Fran McCaffery’s Daughter Has Three Brothers
As mentioned earlier, Marit has three siblings, two elder and one younger than her. Her eldest brother, Connor McCaffery, was born on 13 July 1998 as the first child of their parents. Connor has been involved in basketball since his days at Iowa City West High School. Moreover, he earned various titles, including Des Moines Register Boys Basketball Player of the Year, All Iowa Player of the Year, Conference Player of the Year, and State Tournament Most Valuable Player in the Year in 2017.
Not only that, but the oldest McCaffery also competed in seven Iowa-state tournaments during his playing career at the school. Afterward, Connor joined the University of Iowa in 2018 and continued to excel in his career, and graduated with the team’s Academic Excellence Award in five seasons (2017-2022).
