Shakur Stevenson was born as one of the nine children of his proud parents. His family and parents have been one of his most prominent supporters.
Stevenson, 25, is an American professional boxer. Having held the WBO featherweight title from 2019 to 2020, the WBO super featherweight title from 2021 to 2022, and the WBC and The Ring super featherweight titles in 2022, he is a two-weight world champion.
As an amateur, he competed in the bantamweight division at the 2016 Summer Olympics for the United States, earning a silver medal. He is now rated as the best active super featherweight in the world by ESPN, BoxRec, and the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board.

Shakur Stevenson Parents Are Shahid Guyton And Malikah Stevenson
Stevenson was born the oldest of nine siblings to his parents. His mother, Malikah Stevenson, and stepfather Shahid Guyton raised them in Newark, New Jersey, U.S., on June 28, 1997. Stevenson never saw his biological father as he left Malikah when she was pregnant.
The only detail about him is that he is of Puerto Rican descent. Shahid met Malikah when she was six months pregnant. He did not let Shakur feel his father’s absence by taking great care of him and making him the champion he is today.
They exchanged vows and tied knots and have been together ever since.
Shahid is a native of Oakland. The first child of Malikah and her husband was given the name Ash-Shakur Nafi Shahid Stevenson. He was given the name Shakur in honor of the well-known rapper who had passed away just months before Shakur’s birth.
Because she was a significant fan of Tupac at the time, Shakur’s mother chose to name her baby after the rapper. She was also reported to have been his friend and somehow related to the late rapper.
Stevenson grew up with an extended family, who occasionally lived with his parents, grandparents, and cousins. However, as Mrs. Stevenson had to return to work when he was a year old, he started spending more time with Shahid Guyton. The two became close after that.
The couple went on to have eight more kids after Shakur. Steveson, 25, has his daughter making Shahid and Malikah grandparents.
