Candice Huffine is not a new name in the modeling industry. She is one of the plus-size models working to make the modeling scene flexible to everyone regardless of race, size, or other factors. Candice participated in pageants as a teenager and has come a long way in her career.
For Candice, to be where she is now, it was definitely not an easy journey. She fell down several times but eventually held herself up and continued. Besides that, she always has constant support from one person, and that is Candice Huffine’s husband, Matt Powers. So, we present you this article to shed light on the couple’s journey and Mr. Powers’ professional ventures.
An Adorable Meet-Cute
Candice never thought going to a party would be her best decision ever. In May 2008, her friend told her that Matt was moving to NYC and would attend the party tonight. She ensured she was present at the party, so the couple had their first encounter.
The bond that started with a friendship was not just limited to that, and the couple realized it when Candice Huffine’s husband took her to see the Zac Brown Band concert in 2009. When the band sang Blackbird, the duo looked at each other, and their forever began. Two years after their relationship, the lovebirds decided to make it official.
On October 10, 2011, Matt and Candice tied the knot surrounded by their friends and families in Brooklyn. They had Dandy Wellington and his band processing through Brooklyn streets, and Jessica Lavoie captured their adorable wedding photos. Both bride and groom looked adorable.
Ever since then, the lovebirds have been enjoying their marital bliss. The model often shares adorable and goofy pictures with her hubby, and the fans are just in awe!

Candice Huffine’s Husband is Supportive of Her
Matt Powers’ wife, Candice, has been making a good name in the modeling world. He has been supporting him all along and is the one who inspired her to run marathons. She did not believe she had the right body to be a runner, but it all changed.
In March 2016, Candice Huffine’s husband dared her to try running a half-marathon, so her passion for the sport was unlocked. She ran the New York City half and crossed the finish line in two hours and 38 minutes after running 13.1 miles.
Matt, who is also a runner, has provided undeniable support to her wife. For example, he was the one that inspired her to get rid of her insecurity, i.e., a section of cellulite on her right thigh. When she considered it a shameful flaw, Matt took it as the least important thing he saw in her.
Candice and Matt live a comfortable lifestyle. They both travel to different places and seem to be doing a lot of fun activities together.
